Field workers can improve their photography skills by attending a one-day Department of Primary Industries PROfarm short course at Tamworth.

The one-day courses are being offered on Wednesday 1 August and Thursday 2 August.

‘Photography for Field Work’ will help field workers produce better quality images for species identification, monitoring projects, collecting evidence on compliance issues, producing reports and publications.

The courses will provide participants with the opportunity to understand and utilise the functions of their equipment and the principles of photography, which in turn will allow them to be in control of the resulting photos and not just hoping the camera does the job.

The courses costs $280 GST free and include lunch, morning and afternoon tea, plus a colour workbook and a certificate of attendance.

The courses are being held at the Tamworth Agricultural Institute from 9am to 4.30pm.

Course registrations close on Wednesday 25 July.

To register and for further information please contact Cassie Gardiner on (02) 6763 1267 or Julie Chapman on
